Each blanket is the unique creation of an individual with a disability. These adults have learned many skills while creating these beautiful blankets. They participate in the selecting of fabrics and purchasing of materials. Through this they learn those difficult skills of budgeting and finances.

They show their creativity in the design of their blankets, choosing the colors and patterns. They practice math and fine motor skills while measuring, cutting, and ironing. Their skill in sewing shows in each stitch they and their sewing machines place.
The best part is there is nothing like watching these young adults experience the joy of seeing the final product that they alone created.
